WNY Independent Living was proud to attend and celebrate Buffalo's Juneteenth Festival! ❤️💛💚

Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, history, culture, and community. We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many people, share resources, and join in celebrating one of the nation's longest-running Juneteenth traditions.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. Together, we continue to build stronger, more inclusive communities.

Celebrating Autistic Pride Day 💛

Today, we honor and celebrate autistic individuals—their strengths, perspectives, and contributions to our communities. Autistic Pride Day is about embracing neurodiversity and recognizing that being autistic is a valued and important part of human diversity. 🌈

We are committed to creating spaces where every child and youth feels seen, supported, and respected—just as they are.

The Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Program is here to support families by connecting them to services, resources, and care that promotes each child’s health, development, and well-being. We strive to provide family-centered, inclusive support that uplifts every child’s unique strengths.

💬 Every child deserves to belong, thrive, and be celebrated.

For more information, reach out to Rebecca Batt, Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) program specialist at 585-815-8501 ext 401.
