💚✨ Teamwork makes the dream work!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing friends from United Way of Southern Chautauqua County the United Way of Chautuqua County for spending their Day of Caring with us at our Jamestown office and putting their time and talents to work for Girl Scouts!

This incredible group helped assemble 50 Badge in a Box kits for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts and tackled a major basement clean-out — sorting, organizing, recycling boxes, and filling eight 55-gallon bags of trash! 🧹📦🙌

A special shoutout to Nikki and her daughter Emma, both Girl Scouts and Friends of Horton Hill Day Camp volunteers, who brought Grandma Cheryl along for the workday. We love seeing Girl Scout families giving back together! 💚

Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made such a meaningful impact. And who knows...we may have even recruited a future volunteer or two! 😉

Adventure is waiting at Girl Scouts Day at Buffalo RiverWorks! 🎡

Join us Saturday, August 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for rides, rock climbing, the ropes course, racing zipline, kayaks and more. Girl Scouts can purchase one admission for $20 and bring a friend for free. Friends and family members are welcome to join the fun, and tickets will be available at the door.

🧪 A full week of hands-on STEM fun for just $45?! That’s an amazing summer deal!

Camp Invention is coming to Camp Windy Meadows August 17–21, giving rising K–6th graders a week packed with creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on STEM adventures.

And this time, male siblings can join in on the fun, too! Bring the whole crew for a week of inventing, experimenting, and big ideas.

The Girl Scouts of Western New York Girl Advisory Board is a group of middle and high school Girl Scouts who contribute to key initiatives, participate in leadership programs, and provide insight on council programming. Girl advisory committee members develop leadership skills, collaborate with decision-makers at the Council level, and grow necessary skills for postsecondary education and future leadership opportunities.
Encourage your Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador Girl Scouts to apply for the 2026–2027 Girl Advisory Board and have a voice in shaping the future of Girl Scouting at GSWNY!
