This year, weโre proud to announce that Joy Padget, community leader and coalition builder, will serve as Grand Marshal of the Scenic Drive Fall Festival Paradeโjoined by the incredible team behind Engage Keosauqua, the grassroots movement she helped ignite.
Joyโs leadership has been a catalyst for transformation in Van Buren County. From housing development and downtown revitalization to workforce support and seasonal events, her vision has brought people together and turned ideas into action. She leads with heart, humility, and a relentless drive to make Keosauqua a place thatโs not just livableโbut lovable.
Engage Keosauqua reflects that same spirit. Itโs a coalition of dreamers and doers, neighbors and changemakers, all working to build a community thatโs walkable, welcoming, and full of life. Their work is proof that when we invest in a place, people invest in each other.
As the parade winds through town this October 11, Joy and Engage Keosauqua will lead the wayโcelebrating not just whatโs been accomplished, but whatโs still to come.
