Henry J. Mager Scholarship Fund We are a non-profit scholarship fund for technical based studies. In 1947, Henry J. Mager founded Arctic Refrigeration in his garage.

Over a span of 60 years, he built the company into a successful mechanical contracting firm. Henry never obtained a college degree, but he could engineer a solution to any obstacle that posed a problem. He was constantly thinking of better ways to do things, and inventing ways to do them. In 2009, Henry passed away from a lengthy battle with cancer. His legacy lives on, and the business he built i

s as successful as ever. In hopes of maintaining this legacy and to promote technical education to future generations, a scholarship has been established in his honor. This scholarship is funded entirely by community fund raising and corporate donations from local businesses. The amount of the 2011 scholarship award will be $1000.00.
