Our recent golf tournament was blessed with great weather and a fabulous organizing committee. A big thank you to the sponsors, corporate sponsors and participating golfers. You all contributed to raising in excess of $9.000 for our benevolence fund.

The club supports Response, Inc and we hope you do, too. Response Inc., located in Woodstock, VA, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on preventing domestic violence and assisting survivors in Shenandoah County.

St. Mary's Pine Lutheran Church is having a fundraiser on March 13th for their Community Emergency Needs Fund. You can either dine-in or carry out. See the attached flyer for more details.

We work with St. Mary's when assisting Shenandoah County residents with their water, electric and heat source bills.

Congratulations to Family Promise of Shenandoah County

Join us in congratulating Family Promise of Shenandoah County on being awarded the 2025 Nonprofit of the Year!

Family Promise of Shenandoah County’s mission is to transform the lives of children and families at risk of or experiencing temporary homelessness by helping them access support services and find safe, affordable, and permanent housing in our community. In 2025, they served 285 families and 526 children from Shenandoah County through at least one of their core programs. Eviction prevention has served over 50 families and kept nearly 100 children from experiencing the trauma of homelessness. Eighty percent of the families in their Shelter program during 2025 exited into permanent housing, and ninety percent remain housed today. Over 100 volunteers assist at their major fundraisers, but hundreds more assist with donations to their robust food pantry, supply program, and diaper bank.

Their work at Family Promise is a two-way journey. While their mission is to help guests become stably housed, families experiencing homelessness teach us the true meaning of grit through their sense of hope and amazing resilience.

+Conduct vision and hearing screenings for students in Shenandoah County schools annually.
+Operate a medical equipment loan locker for southern Shenandoah County residents.
+Collect used eyeglasses to assist Lions Club International in distributing glasses.
+Conduct blood drives in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
+Provide Christmas bell ringers for the Salvation Army benefiting Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter.
+Provide annual academic and vocational scholarships to Shenandoah County students.
+Conduct litter pick-ups on surrounding roads.
+Help with parking at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival.
+Provide benevolences to many local charities such as Response, Search Group Home, Family Promise of Shenandoah County, and more
+Conduct a spring golf tournament at Bryce Resort.
