We want to thank every single person who joined us today to remember and honor those we lost.

Our community truly showed up, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who helped make this event so meaningful.

If you took photos, we would love to see them! Please share them in the comments or send them to us privately, and we’ll add them to an album for the cadets. 🇺🇸

9/11 memorial

09/11/2026

Starting in 25 minutes. We will be going live in case you are unable to physically make it in person.

Bastrop you’re invited. 🇺🇸

On Friday morning, September 11th, the Bastrop High School NJROTC cadets will hold a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Erhard Field.

We would especially love to see our first responders, veterans, active-duty military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and other uniformed service members there in uniform if you’re able. Help us make this feel like the true memorial these kids are working so hard to create.

There will be prayers. There will be songs. There will be remembrance.

It will only take a few minutes out of the morning, but those few minutes matter.

Twenty-five years later, we have young people who weren't even alive on September 11, 2001 choosing to stop, learn the names, honor the lives lost, and make sure our community remembers.

So let's show up for them — and more importantly, let's show up for those we lost.

United we stand. Divided we fall.
Take a moment. Remember. Honor. Never forget. 🇺🇸
