The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office has set up the 2023 Tree of Angels, honoring victims’ of crime at the First National Bank (main lobby)Bastrop, Texas.
We recognize how difficult the holiday season may be for many families.

The 2023 Tree of Angels (Honoring Victims of Violent Crime) is currently on display at the First National Bank (lobby), located at 489 Highway 71 W Bastrop, Texas 78602.
The lobby hours are: M-F 8:00am -4:00pm.

The 2022 Bastrop County Tree of Angels© is a "SHOWCASE" only event this year. The fully decorated Christmas Tree will be on display throughout the holiday season at the First National Bank of Bastrop, 498 W SH 71 W Bastrop, Texas. Lobby hours are 8am- 4pm, Mon- Fri

As we approach the holiday season, it is important to think of others and remember that often people struggle to find joy during the holidays. Many families are facing the season without the presence of their loved one. The Tree of Angels© Dedication Ceremony is held to honor and remember those lost or victimized by a violent crime. These ceremonies are hosted in cities all across Texas and the U.S.
It is a sacred time, giving families and friends the opportunity to come together and place a personalized angel ornament on the tree.
The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office joins with our community to remember these victims and families.

Save the date! Join us as we honor remember victims and survivors of violent crime. Our speaker this year is The Honorable Judge Benton Eskew. The service includes local community leaders,special music and the adornment and lighting of the Tree of Angels©. Refreshments will be served following the service.
