A medical fundraising effort is underway for two cats, with a target amount of $2150.
Lil Bit, rescued from beneath a home where she was stuck in insulation, requires a double eye enucleation surgery that will cost $750. Clara, an 11-month-old cat with a congenital pelvic deformity, needs double FHO surgeries, estimated to cost $1400. We're collaborating with a rescue partner to support these cats' medical care. 💕

We dream of the day when ALL of the citizens in this community take personal responsibility. We work with over 1000 community members a year and have had over 12,000 cats TNR’d yet we still get dozens of calls a day during kitten season

That took someone getting up early, trapping in the heat or cold, coordinating appointments, transporting, recovering, educating, and showing compassion instead of just complaining.

Nobody has “extra” time.
People make time for the things they truly care about.

Here’s your annual reminder to not kit-nap the kittens!  if you see a litter of kittens without their mom - she is likely out hunting! To help determine  if they were Abandoned or she’s just stepped away sprinkle some flour around them and check back to look for her paw prints.  if she has returned or you see evidence of her being there leave them alone. Just try to be aware of where they are so that they can be helped once they are older.

Are you prepared for the moment you stumble across kittens? It can happen year round but more frequently in the Spring, we come across a litter of kittens and we just want to help! What will you do on the day that you get called by the sweet little squeaks of a cuddle pile of precious babies? I hope...
