MISSION STATEMENT
To provide for the youth of the Bastrop area a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment in which to learn football and cheerleading basic fundamentals, sportsmanship, self-pride, discipline and team spirit.

📚🍎 HAPPY FIRST DAY BACK TO SCHOOL! 🍎📚

BYFO wants to wish all of our athletes, cheerleaders, coaches, volunteers, and families an AMAZING first day of school!

A new school year means new goals, new friendships, and new opportunities to learn and grow. Work hard in the classroom, be kind to others, and always remember to represent yourself and your community with pride.

This is what our program is meant for. 🥹💙🏈🫶

We have our youngest division, P*e Wee Flag, sitting and watching our oldest division, Senior Tackle.

For our P*e Wee Flag babies, this is the beginning of something amazing and we hope to see you grow within our program so that one day you can become leaders for younger generations. 🙏

For our Senior Tackle, for some of yall this may be the last season in our program, and Middle school football begins, but you have to know the impact you are making. It was hot out out there that day, you were tired, and Coach asked for you to run the drill again. And you did, because you know that hard work pays off and that come game time we will be better prepared. Little did you know you had an audience who saw you and thought to themselves "Woah! They are so strong!" 💪

Never forget that someone is always watching, and that you may have just become their motivation. Keep up the good work, I know you will make all of us proud. Huge thanks to Coach Shaw and Coach Mike for teaching our Senior Tackle boys the fundamentals so they are better prepared when they go to the next level.

At BYFO, we are incredibly grateful for the people who give their time, heart, and energy to our organization.

Today, we'd like to recognize Mr. Andy Cruz, our Sponsorship Board Member and a dedicated football coach. His beautiful wife, Bianca, is also an amazing Coach for Cheer. This power couple are proud parents of four amazing children, with three of them proudly participating in the BYFO program. Their passion for youth sports comes from their love for their own family and there commitment to making our community stronger. We are so blessed to have them be a part of this team! 💪

Whether they are coaching on the field, or building relationships with local businesses, or helping create opportunities for our athletes, they are always working to make a difference.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to provide a safe, fun, and memorable experience for every child.
