On August 13, 2020, Bastrop was certified by the Texas Music Office as a Music Friendly Community. Bastrop is the 15th Music Friendly Community in the state of Texas. Our Music Friendly Community designation will help us promote our diverse music industry and help it grow by fostering economic development in Bastrop.
