HOURS OF OPERATION: We play at the
new BASTROP PICKLEBALL COMPLEX at 141 Tahitian Drive in Bastrop. Evening play is Sunday and Wednesday at 5 until 8. We are a private group & the Dues are: $200 annually if paid by check.
$205 annually or $20 monthly if paid online. (No check option for monthly) . CODE OF CONDUCT :

Bastrop Area Pickleball Association (BAPA) is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all. The Association believes that it is important that members a wavs show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Members will recognize the valuable contribution made by the General Committee members and other volunteers. They give their time and resources to the Association. Theretore, members are encouraged to alwavs be open and to sharc any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the
Association with the Executive Committee. As a member ot the Bastrop Area Pickleball Association, you agree to abide by the following code ot Conduct? All members will take responsibility to ensure the are up to date with the following: BAPA Bylaws
Pickleball Etiquette, BAPA Court rules, and BAPA Open Play rules, as noted on the website (www.bastroppickleball.org & https://www.facebook.com/PickleBallBastrop), and the rules of the U.S. Pickleball Association (www.usapickleball.org) found on their website. Members should understand all rules and agree to adhere to them. All members will respect the rights, dignity. and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender. ability, race, cultural background, religious beliets, or sexual identity. By joining BAPA, all members agree to accept and follow the Bylaws and publicly accept the decisions of the Executive Committee, including those related to violations of the Code of Conduct which result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of membership. All members should be positive role models and treat other members, guests, and the Board with the
same level of respect that they would expect to be shown to them. Use correct and proper language at all times. Profanity, vulgar language, and defamatory statements are not appropriate and will not be tolerated. Members will keep to agreed timings for courts. training. and competitions or inform
League and Tournament organizers it they are going to be late or unavailable as early as is practical. Members will pay any fees for courts, Coaching. tournaments, or other events by the day of the event. Bullying of any sort will not be tolerated. Physical confrontation, intimidation, or threatening language will not be tolerated. All accidents and incidents should be reported to an Executive Committee member. It you see a violation of the code of conduct, as a member, it is your responsibility to report it to the Executive

CHALLENGE COURT RULES;
Rally scoring to 15
Winners stay no more than 3 games. Losers come off court (if there are challengers ready to play)
Win by one point Must serve for 15th point
OPEN PLAY RULES
If beginners and immediates want to play up a level, they may do so. If they lose, they need to go back down to their specific courts and practice. (This is when the courts are crowded and people are waiting to play.) PRIVATE PLAY RULES
Any member has the option to organize their own group play during non-open, league and specific event times. Private groups use this opportunity to practice stroke skills and game playing skills to improve their game. These groups will not be added to the calendar.
