Community Coordinator Opportunity!

We are searching for a local individual to step up and become the Community Coordinator for HKRS Bastrop-Cedar Creek, TX!

Do you want to help inspire kids in your community? Leads kids to an active, healthy life with a Get Up and Go mindset. Help us to continue to spread the mission to this local community!

HKRS Bastrop and Cedar Creek will not start tomorrow. Looking at additional locations. Due to the site going under construction. We will be working to finalize another start date/time. This will be released as soon as the information is available.

Bastrop/Cedar Creek TX !!! I know it's taken longer than we wanted, but we have our race dates, time, and location approved and ready to go!!!!

Cedar Creek Intermediate School
151 Voss Pkwy, Cedar Creek TX 78612.
Races will start at 2:00 PM

Races Dates are 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15,and 5/22. If needed we will have a rain day make up on 6/1/2022. Start time 2:00 PM.

Healthy Kids Running Series- Bastrop and Cedar Creek, I hope all of you are doing great!!! I am working on finalizing our spring running series. Those details being, location guaranteed, dates locked in, and trying to create a list for volunteers and sponsors! As most of you know testing season is upon us, I have been super busy with preparing my students for the test(s) coming up. I hope to have all of the details finalized next week. I will provide those to you immediately, via this page. I look forward to seeing you all soon! Any questions that I can answer now, I will. I'm just hoping to have our finalized plan by the end of next week completed and I will release it then!

Now that our school district sent this out to a few thousand families, I would expect our program to have a lot more competition and a larger scale group of kiddos for our Spring '22 Series.

Week 5 and our grand finale in the books for our Healthy Kids Running Series - Bastrop-Cedar Creek, TX

What an awesome experience and turnout. I'll recap some of the things I said at our awards ceremony.

1. Thanks to the parents. Thanks for trusting us to provide a program that you and your child will enjoy. Thanks for your support.

2. Runners!!! Y'all are awesome. Thank you for coming out and making this a blast!

3. Last, but certainly not least. Thanks to the parents that came out to help and volunteer to make this program happen. Thanks to Chris Sisemore Kari Prokop Werts Jeffrey Bolding and Jamie Bolding for making it possible. So much more to the program than lining the kids up and blowing a horn! Thank you for your continued support and help on the field and behind the scenes. Thank you for everything!!

At the end of week 5 before the trophies are handed out to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place- we have a parents 1 mile run. MASSIVE turnout and Participation.
