On behalf of the North Central boys’ and girls’ wrestling teams, as well as the Rock County High School District, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Bassett City Council members for their support and collaboration in reaching an agreement that allows our athletes to practice in the new community center.

Your willingness to partner with the district and make this space available means a great deal to our students, coaches, and families. The expanded practice area will provide our wrestlers with a safer, more effective environment to train, grow, and represent our community with pride.

Thank you for your dedication to supporting youth activities and for investing in opportunities that strengthen both our school and the broader Bassett community. We truly appreciate your commitment and leadership.

Take a look at the exciting changes happening to the community center!!! Drywall is up and ready for paint; we will then be moving on to finishing details.

The Rock County Community Center will be open in early 2025 with a community celebration planned for Saturday, March 1st. Tickets will be limited.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to help us finish this project you can drop off a donation to the City of Bassett, mail a donation to PO Box 506, or make an online donation at: https://www.nebcommfound.org/give/rock-county-community-fund/

Lots of progress being made inside and out. We are in the final stages of construction with an anticipated opening date of January 1, 2025.

We are still actively fundraising for the building as we are needing to furnish the facility with bleachers, basketball hoops, volleyball net, tables and chairs for 350 people, coolers for the kitchen, etc. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to RCCF or to The City of Bassett (put community center in the memo line) by mailing a check to PO Box 506.
