In November the Bass Lake Lions Club donated storage racks and bins to a high school student who is working on a project with My Club, formerly known as the Boys and Girls Club of Oakhurst. The project involves the collection of donated clothing for students in grades five through twelve with needs. By recycling clothing the student hopes to not only help serve the children in the area, but also help protect the environment. Pictured in the photo below carrying a large box of items is Lion Ty Peterson assisting with this project.

On November 30th the Bass Lake Lions assisted with the Annual Pines Winter Parade by offering free cotton candy to all attendees. Cotton candy was also spun and sold during the parade to help generate revenue for services in 2025. Over 500 cups of hot chocolate were given away with over 100 cones of cotton candy sold. The Bass Lake Lions offer a special thanks to our district governor, Eric Cheung, for driving up to Bass Lake and helping make cotton candy for a second consecutive year!

On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Bass Lake Lions cosponsored the 32nd Annual Antique & Classic Wooden Boat Show at Miller's Landing from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. A few hundred visitors came to view the beautiful boats and enjoy the nice weather on the lake. In addition, a local Pontiac Club parked beautiful classic cars near the waterfront for the visitors to also admire.

The Bass Lake Lions Club was there to serve the boat owners coffee and a snack in the morning, and to pass out brochures for the visitors to learn more about the 25 boats that came from all throughout northern and southern California for this annual event. Raffle tickets were sold by the Bass Lake Lions to help fundraise for the various charities that the club supports throughout the year.

Visitors were also given ballots to vote for their favorite boat, called the People's Choice Award. Other awards for the boat owners included the Skipper's Choice, Best Restoration, and the Most Original.
