The Somerset County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey Awarded American Water Charitable Foundation 2025 Water and Environment Grant
Somerset County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey announced today that it was awarded an American Water Charitable Foundation 2025 Water and Environment grant, focusing on a reforestation project using native plants to mitigate stormwater runoff along the Royce Brook in Manville, NJ.
‘The co-leaders of the chapter are honored to accept the award from the Foundation. The Somerset Chapter looks forward to working with local partners and volunteers to implement the project plans during 2025”.
The Water and Environment grant is part of the American Water Charitable Foundation’s Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program. The Foundation is a philanthropic non-profit organization established by American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., supporting high-impact projects and initiatives that further American Water’s commitment to the communities it serves.
