I don't have meeting minutes done yet, but I wanted to share some good news that we have (or will) accept a 6K matching donation from Wyoming Outdoorsmen and in keeping with, the Club Officers have approved the creation of a new savings account at BHF in order to demonstrate to them our progress putting up our share of funds!
The original project name (Trap Field Lighting Project) is now obsolete and will be replaced with the "Lighting the Way" Youth Shooting Sports Lighting Project.
The club has resolved to implement a 3 prong approach to raising funds for this project:
Gun Raffle
Fun Shoot
Sponsorship Drive
These events are in the planning stage and anyone wishing to pitch in and help the Officers with key resources are welcome to contact me, Brady or Sean.
I am working on a Sponsorship Packet with varying sponsorship levels as well as IRS documentation for tax credits. Watch out - I may be hand delivering to a business near you!
I hope that we can begin listing Donors and the fundraising progress real soon. Our goal is to raise six thousand dollars and the Gun Club will match every penny up to 3K.

If you are a returning member and have previously submitted a paper form - we will check you off of our list at tonight's safety meeting - no need to fill out another form!

Not sure if you need to join the club?
If your student(s) are participating in 4-H or Trap League? YES
Pay club dues only ONCE if your student(s) are signed up for BOTH.

If you have more than one student? One membership is good for the whole family regardless if for 4-H or Trap League.

If you have already paid for a membership in 2026? NO further dues are required.

Howdy Folks,

A quick word to let all know that as of today the gate code has been changed to ... oh right, when dues are paid you get the new code!

Life and Charter members will have cards mailed out next week. Charter members owe $17 for 2026.

Annual memberships are still $35 for individual and families. Come see me at the campground office, or come see us at the Clubhouse next Thursday night at 6pm to get caught up. Please turn in your keys if you have them.

I can mail invoices out to anyone who might find this more convenient for your busy schedule. Give me a shout and include your address.

Also for anyone who know others who would like to join, we have a new online form to request membership - it saves having to store those paper applications! Find it here: https://bighornbasingunclub.org/membership/

Last year we increased membership a little - we broke 70! Two thirds of these memberships were 4-H and Trap League families - we appreciate you!
