Basehor Linwood Assistance Services- BLAS- Weekly Update

October 15, 2026 the Food Pantry helped 20 families with 81 family members, 35 of those were children. 😊

The Food Pantry is in need of the following items for next Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Dinty Moore Beef Stew
Canned Pineapple
Canned Mandarin Oranges
Suddenly Pasta Salad
Brownie Mix

If you are in need of some help with groceries please come to the Food Pantry on Thursdays between 5 and 6. If it is your first time coming please bring proof of living in the Basehor Linwood School District.

Thank you to Holy Angels Knights of Columbus for the new kid's coats! Just in time for cold weather. These coats will be put to good use and be greatly appreciated.

As we enter soup and chili season… the food pantry is in need of several vegetables and crackers. All item purchased from our Amazon Wishlist will be delivered directly to us. Thank you for continuing to care for our community!

If you’re doing some Prime Days Deals shopping…our food pantry could use some soups and drink mixes like Kool-Aid and Lemonade. Items purchased off of our Amazon Wishlist are delivered direct to us.

Our BLAS family's furry members were excited that Kathy dropped by to donate dog food this week. 🐕

BLAS would like to thank Kelly Kanan's Career and Life Planning Class for stopping by to help today. 🚌

The students brought donations and put together kid's snack bags for our families on Thursday. They made an assembly line and even had a quality control inspector to make sure every bag had what was needed. They were able to put together 60 bags. 🛍️

We look forward to them visiting again in the future. Thank you for making a difference today. 😊
