Cub Scout Food Drive
THIS Saturday, Nov. 15th
Two ways to donate:

10AM
Food will be collected in Blue Lake, Sopris Village, Elk Run and Southside
🥫 Leave a filled bag on your porch or driveway

10AM-12PM
Cub Scouts will collect food donations at City Market, El Jebel in conjunction with Lift-Up
🥫 Shop and drop donations or bring donations to the Lift-Up truck

Webelos took advantage of the warm temps and dry ground to work on two Adventures: “Tech on the Trail” (GPS orienteering) and “Pedal Away” (biking).

Scouts rode bikes while trying to locate geocaches. Then had some fun on pump and BMX tracks.

Still deciding if Scouts is something you want to partake in? Come Join us at Roaring Fork Fire Station 41 (Downtown Basalt) as we hold our annual Raingutter Regatta Event. You'll be able to watch the races, ask Den Leaders questions, and possibly participate and race a boat! This event is a fan favorite and you don't want to miss it!

This week Pack 242 met twice, once for our Annual Kickoff and again for our first Den meetings of the year. Next up is our fan favorite Raingutter Regatta! Still room available for all Grades K-5, especially Kinder and 2nd! Interested in Joining? Shoot us a message or join us on October 19th at 3PM at the Basalt Fire Station for the Regatta and check out what we are all about for yourselves!

Attention, neighbors!

Cub Scouts were busy all week (sun and snow!) dropping off food drive bags.

TODAY is pickup day! Please leave your filled bag on your porch and the Scouts and their leaders will be out between 10-12 to gather and deliver it to Lift Up.

If you didn’t receive a donation bag, please visit City Market (El Jebel) 10-12 to donate at our Scout table out front.

Thank you for helping our Scouts learn about service and assisting community members in need.

Cub scouts in your neighborhood!

Scouts will be passing bags out to homes starting this weekend for the annual food drive. They will also be in front of city market on Nov7 from 10am to noon! See you out there!!
