Gifted & Alpha Parents of Polk (GAPP)
The goal of GAPP is to provide parents with a network of resources to address the diverse needs of Polk’s 5,000 students (K-12) that process exceptional learning skills. While these children are talented academically, they typically exhibit social and emotional challenges throughout their lives. We believe creating a network of parents to educate, advocate and participate in the development of their gifted youth will aid in bridging this “excellence gap”.
