We're going to the wonderful Vermont's Orleans County Fair on September 11. What a great opportunity to support our local agribusinesses in our community! We have many students participating in tractor pulls, equine shows, artwork or have their animals in the new barns!
If you would like to sponsor the teacher tickets ($200) or the students' $5 treat ($250) - the best place is the Vermont's Orleans County Maple Producers sugarhouse, please contact Principal Beloin. We are hopeful that our local grant will be released in time to get all student tickets covered ($1000).

Proud to represent the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington at this event.

See you at the fair!

Good morning, OCSU! Today marks the last student day of the school year - a milestone that connects all of us! Everyone in the buildings will pause to celebrate a year’s worth of learning, growth, perseverance, and memories before turning toward summer. My first year as Superintendent of Orleans Central Supervisory Union has given me countless opportunities to learn, listen, build relationships, and witness firsthand the extraordinary commitment that exists across our schools and communities. Every day, I am reminded that the strength of OCSU comes from the people who show up for students and for one another, often in ways that may never be fully seen or recognized. There is much to celebrate, and I want to thank our students, families, staff, board members, and community partners for the care, trust, and support you have shown throughout the year Recently, I had the opportunity to listen to all of our principals as they reflected on the year, shared evidence of student growth, celebrated successes, and identified goals for the year ahead. I am pleased to report that every school demonstrated growth in student achievement this year, a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our staff. We also expanded supports for students academically, socially, and emotionally, while continuing to strengthen teaching and learning through collaboration and professional growth. All of this work, along with our ability to retain talented staff and welcome new team members, provide a strong foundation for the future. Looking ahead, we will continue modernizing and streamlining our systems, including transitioning annual registration and other key processes to digital platforms that improve efficiency, simplify experiences, and better serve our students, families, and staff. We will also begin engaging in the education transformation work outlined in H.955. I will continue to keep our community informed as this work evolves and look forward to sharing more updates when I reconnect with everyone in August. At the same time, our focus remains clear: improving achievement across all academic areas, ensuring every student is challenged and supported to learn at the highest levels, reducing chronic absenteeism, increasing students’ sense of belonging, and strengthening the conditions and systems that help both students and staff thrive. As I reflect on this year, I am proud of what we have accomplished together. The challenges before us are real, but so is our collective capacity to meet them. Together, we are cultivating schools where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported, and where every adult works together to help all OCSU students succeed at the highest levels. Thank you again for a great year. Please remember our expanded summer meal program happening at Lake Region - the flyer is attached. I hope that everyone has a great day today, and over the next few months you spend time enjoying all that summer has to offer. With heartfelt gratitude, Jackie Ramsay-Tolman Your OCSU Superintendent
