Let the Church Be the Church 🇨🇺✝️
In the book of Acts, we see a powerful picture of what the Church was meant to be:
“They devoted themselves… to fellowship… All the believers were together and had everything in common… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” (Acts 2:42–46)
This is not just history—this is happening right now in Cuba.
In the midst of scarcity, rising costs, and uncertainty…
the Church is rising.
Believers are opening their homes.
Meals are being shared.
What little there is… is given freely.
No one stands alone. No one is forgotten.
In some of the toughest conditions, we are witnessing one of the purest expressions of the Gospel—
the Church being the Church.
Food is not just food.
It is fellowship.
It is love in action.
It is a testimony that even in hardship, God provides through His people.
🙏🏽 Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Cuba.
🙏🏽 Pray for provision, strength, and unity.
🙏🏽 And if you feel led, help us continue supporting these efforts.

🎤 SUNDAY WORSHIP IN CUBA 🇨🇺
It may not look like what we’re used to…
but make no mistake—
the Church is alive.

There is a building.
There is a microphone.
There is a place to gather.

Although it may not look like our buildings or our technology...
it’s about Who they worship.

Voices rise.
Hands lift.
Hearts surrender.
And in that moment, it’s clear—

God is just as present there as He is anywhere else.

🙏 “The Lord is near to all who call on Him…” — Psalm 145:18

In Cuba, the Church gathers faithfully—
through limitations, through challenges, through sacrifice—
yet with a joy that cannot be shaken.

Today, as you worship…
remember you are part of something bigger.

🇨🇺 From the Streets of Cuba…

Tonight, our brothers and sisters went out to serve food to those living on the streets.

What they saw was heartbreaking.

So many without homes.
So much scarcity.
So much hunger.

Yet in the middle of it all… there was joy.
People received the food with gratitude. They blessed those serving them—without even realizing that it is God who is the true provider.

This is the reality right now in Cuba.

And this is why the mission matters.

We are praying:
“Lord, have mercy on our island. Continue to provide so we can keep helping those in need.”

🙏 God is moving… but there is still so much to be done.
If you’ve ever wondered if your support makes a difference—this is it.

Meals in hands. Hope in hearts. Christ being shared.
Let’s keep going. Let’s keep giving. Let’s keep serving.
Peace of Jesus Christ be with us all.

There’s something special about Sundays like this…

Not just the message.
Not just the gathering.
But the fellowship.

In places where resources are limited, moments like this become even more meaningful. No big buildings. No elaborate setups. Just hearts coming together—sharing food, sharing faith, and sharing life.

This is the Church.
Simple. Powerful. Alive.
From the Word at the podium…

To plates in hand…

To conversations that build one another up…

Food feeds the body. Fellowship feeds the soul.

And in moments like these, you realize—
we’re not lacking anything. God is present.

🙏 Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters.

We don’t think twice about it…

On a Sunday morning, someone decides to give their life to Christ… and within moments, we can walk them to a baptistry right inside the building.

Clean water. Ready. Waiting.

But in Cuba… it’s different.

There are no built-in baptistry pools in most small congregations.

No “just come forward” moment followed by immediate baptism.

Instead, baptism means a journey.

A trip to the ocean.
And that trip isn’t simple.
Transportation is limited.
Gas and oil are expensive and hard to find.

So baptisms have to be planned carefully—sometimes delayed—not because hearts aren’t ready… but because resources aren’t.

Imagine being ready to take that step of faith…
and having to wait… just to find a way to get there.

Right now, we’re preparing for one of those baptism days.
And we need $200 just to cover the gas costs to get believers to the ocean.

🇨🇺 CCCM Mission Update | Cuba
Cuba is facing incredibly difficult conditions right now.
We are experiencing up to 20 hours of power outages every day.

The dollar has risen to 525 pesos, making basic necessities harder to afford.

A single pound of chicken now costs 450–500 pesos, and fuel has reached 4800 pesos per liter.

And yet… the Church is strong and growing.

Across all municipalities, the church continues to expand.
This year alone, over 180 people have been baptized.

We are now preparing for our next baptism, with 10 individuals currently in discipleship, getting ready to take that step of faith.

Even in the middle of hardship, the church remains a place of hope—

This Sunday, we will gather to share a meal together.

For the ongoing challenges in the country
For the youth, especially concerning the influence of drugs
For strength and provision for pastors
