Wearing Blue today for colorectal cancer Awareness Day 3/6

Enough is enough. Too many lives are being impacted by colorectal cancer, especially younger people who often don’t realize they’re at risk. Awareness, early screening, and proper funding can save lives. Wearing blue today is a small act, but it represents a bigger commitment to education, prevention, and pushing for the research and resources needed to change these outcomes. 💙

You ever hear that someone was “crazy”? The reality is they probably have/had a mental illness that was undiagnosed or they were not talking their medication.

There is no stigma attached to seeing the doctor for high blood pressure or “sugar” and we need to do the same for our mental health.

It’s okay to seek help.
It’s okay to say, “I’m not okay.”
It’s okay to need someone to talk to.

Your mental health deserves the same care and attention as your physical health. We go to the doctor when our body aches so why not when our mind or heart does?

There is strength, not shame, in seeking treatment. Therapy, counseling, medication, community these are tools for healing, not signs of weakness.

Hate has taken our world to where it is today.
Imagine how far love could carry us. Stop paying for hates while love is always free…

But it won’t happen on its own…..
it requires your voice, your participation in elections,
and our commitment to be good stewards of one another.

The future is built by what we choose today. Choose love.
