Morgan Phillips has been crowned as the 2026 Miss Mount Washington Valley Teen! I have known Mo for a few years now and it’s been incredible to see her grow up into such an amazing young lady. She has a heart of gold and is one of the kindest people I know. Younger kids flock to her because she is kind and nurturing. You may recognize Mo from local theatre productions and she shared her beautiful voice with us today during the talent portion. I can’t wait to see where life takes her. The sky’s the limit. Shine On!

👑🐾 A Royal Visit for Our Shelter Pets! 🐾👑

We were so honored to welcome Valley Ms. Mackenzie Hester back to the shelter yesterday after her incredible win representing the Conway Area Humane Society every step of the way! 💙

Thanks to Mackenzie’s dedication and heart for animals, we received a generous $500 donation from MWV Promotions. Because of her efforts, our shelter pets will be spoiled with the treats, care, and love they truly deserve. 🐶🐱

Mackenzie truly goes above and beyond, and we’re proud to celebrate her as our Humane Hero of the Month for all she does to help animals in need. From fundraising to hands-on compassion—she even rescued a bunny during her interview process! 🐰💕

Congratulations again on your crown, Mackenzie and thank you for being such an incredible advocate for animals.

Hi everyone! My name is Mackenzie Hester and I am thrilled to be your Ms. Mount Washington Valley 2026-27! Follow this page to see all my adventures as your reigning queen. If you are a local non-profit or business and would like me to attend one of your events, just send me a message.

Here’s a little bit about me:
I am a music teacher, actor, and director. You can find me involved in theatre across the valley and even in Maine. I moved to the MWV from Indiana in 2021 and I’m really grateful to call this special place home. I love animals and I ran in representation of the Conway Area Humane Society. I love spending time on the S**o River and hiking in the mountains. Most of all I love meeting new people and getting active in my community. I’m so excited to see what awaits me over the next 2 years. 🩷

Being Ms. Mount Washington Valley has been one of the greatest honors of my life. This title gave me the opportunity to serve a community I care deeply about, support local organizations, and bring smiles to so many faces — especially when someone tried on my crown and lit up with joy. Those moments reminded me why this role matters and how meaningful connection can be.

One of the greatest gifts of this experience was the chance to empower women and girls to be strong, confident, and proud of who they are. Encouraging others to step into their light, use their voice, and become role models within our community will always remain close to my heart.

I wanted to take a moment to share that although my reign ended early, I am grateful for the time I had to serve in this role. While this is not the outcome I had hoped for, this past year has taught me so much about resilience, grace, and the importance of standing strong in who you are. I am moving forward with my head high and my heart open, continuing to serve and support this community in the ways I always have.

This past year strengthened me in ways I never expected. I’ve come through it stronger, wiser, and more committed than ever to using my experiences to empower others. I will continue showing up for this community — creating opportunities, mentoring youth, and being the kind of leader who turns adversity into fuel.

Although this chapter is ending sooner than planned, my gratitude has only grown. This experience shaped me, challenged me, and ultimately made me a better, more resilient woman.

To the new contestants: I wish you the very best of luck. This title is truly special, and you have the chance to make a real difference here. Lead with heart, serve with kindness, and let your presence uplift others.

To everyone who believed in me and offered kindness through a difficult season of my life: thank you. Your support means more than you know. This chapter may be closing, but a bigger one is just beginning. 💙✨
