Our scholarships help people like Katie, who recently graduated from our eleven-month practical nursing program. She came to us as a single mom with three kids and a $13,000 debt from a private technical college that landed her an $8.50 an hour pharmacy tech job. โI came from poverty and was stuck in poverty,โ she shared with us, โI lived in a broken-down trailer park full of druggies and never thought I could escape.โ As a Licensed Practical Nurse and Foundation recipient, Katie graduated without tuition debt and is making $48,000 a year.
