At the rescue we keep our pets safe, happy, and well cared for. It isn’t always easy and we could really use your help! Here’s a link to our gofundme to raise money for some very necessary fencing for yards, and HVAC for the back building. Even if you can’t donate we would love it if you could still share our fundraiser. Thank you everyone! We appreciate you!

Lucy is still looking for her forever home. Are you looking for a sweet new kitty? Lucy could be your new furry family member.

Please share this post so that we can get her adopted. ❤️🐾

Meet beautiful Lucy! 🐾💚

Lucy is a sweet girl who loves attention and would love to have people of her own to soak up all that affection. Unfortunately, she just isn’t happy in her current living situation. Her family loves her very much, and as difficult as this decision is, they feel Lucy would be happier in a home with fewer animals where she can feel more comfortable and get the attention she loves.

Just look at that gorgeous face! 😍 We’d love to help Lucy find a home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be the sweet, loved girl she is.

⭐️ If you’re interested in adopting Lucy, please message us!

⭐️ Update: We are happy to announce that Kitty was adopted!

Meet Kitty! 🐾

This sweet girl is looking for a home to call her own. ❤️

Kitty is about 4–5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. She started out as a stray in the neighborhood and is currently staying with a very kind temporary foster family who is unable to keep her long term.

Kitty is a sweet girl who might need a little patience and time to settle in and feel safe. Give her the chance to adjust at her own pace, and we think she’ll make a wonderful companion.

If you think you might be Kitty’s person, send us a message with your email address and we’ll send you an adoption application!

And even if you can’t adopt, please share Kitty’s post 🙏. Her family might be somewhere in your friends list. 💚

Everyone has a comfort item, and for One, it’s her beloved Lamby. 🐑💕

She carries Lamby around everywhere she goes, and it’s easy to see just how much she treasures it. One is incredibly gentle with her favorite friend, and has never tried to rip or tear her apart.

It’s one of those little things that makes One so special. Beneath all that playful energy is a sweet, affectionate pup with a soft side that’s impossible not to love.

Could One and her trusty Lamby be the newest members of your family? ❤️

If you’re interested in adopting One, send us a message with your email address, and we’ll send you an adoption application!

⭐️ You can now support For The Animals Rescue with Facebook Stars! ⭐

We’re excited to share that you can now help our rescue simply by sending Stars on our Facebook posts and videos. Every Star helps us continue caring for the animals who depend on us.

Right now, we have an urgent need to repair our HVAC system. Keeping our building at a safe, comfortable temperature is essential for dogs like Ollie, Prim, One, and every other animal in our care while they wait for their forever homes.

Whether you send a few Stars, share our posts, or help spread the word, you’re making a real difference. Every contribution goes toward giving these animals the safe, comfortable environment they deserve.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us care for the animals who need us most. ❤️🐾

Meet One 🐾❤️

She used to be called One Dot because of the adorable little tan dot on her back… but these days she’s simply One. And she is definitely one of a kind.

This happy girl is full of energy, loves to play, and is always ready for her next adventure. She’s great with other dogs, does well with kids, and would love a family that can keep up with her fun-loving personality.

Wondering about cats? We haven’t introduced her to one yet, but we’re happy to do a cat test if that’s important for your home.

If you’re looking for a playful best friend who will fill your days with smiles, One might just be your perfect match.

If you’re interested in adopting One, message us with your email address, and we’ll send you an adoption application. We’d love to help you get to know this sweet girl! 🐶💕

We’re sure you’re wondering if Prim is good with other pets, right?

Prim is a social butterfly. She loves making new friends, whether they bark or purr. 💜

These videos capture her sweet, silly, and playful sides. She is always happy to be around other animals. She’s the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying.

We’re honestly surprised she’s still waiting for her forever family!

If she’s stolen your heart, please give this post a like, leave her some love in the comments ❤️, and share it. Her forever family might be just one share away.

Speaking of pet adoption…

🐾 Meet Prim! 🐾

Looking for a fun-loving best friend? Prim might just be your perfect match!

Prim is a Boxer mix, and while we’re not sure what she’s mixed with, her Boxer personality shines through! She’s got that classic Boxer squishy face, goofy antics, and happy-go-lucky attitude that are impossible not to love.

This sweet girl has done well around a variety of other dogs. She can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds but really gets along well with most everyone at the shelter, and even has a buddy named Ollie.

Prim is also:
❤️ Leash trained
❤️ Crate trained
❤️ Knows basic commands
❤️ Great with children
❤️ Very food and treat motivated, making continued training a breeze!

She’s an affectionate, happy dog who is ready to bring laughter, love, and plenty of goofy charm into her forever home.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged family member, Prim could be your perfect match. She may just be the missing piece you’ve been looking for. 🐾❤️

To our amazing community,

Right now, our rescue is at capacity. Every kennel, foster space, and resource is dedicated to the animals currently in our care. Because of this, we are unable to accept additional intakes at this time.

Our biggest need right now is adoptions.

Every dog and cat in our rescue deserves a loving forever home, and every adoption gives one of our current residents the happy ending they’ve been waiting for.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a new member to your family, we encourage you to take a look at our adoptable pets. They are ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and companionship.

Thank you for continuing to support our mission and the animals who depend on us. Your compassion means the world to us—and to them. ❤️🐾
