Victory Worship Center is an interdenominational, Holy Spirit-filled, love-motivated body of believers. We operate in the fruit and present day ministry gifts of the Holy Spirit. Our body of believers supports each other in our daily journey and pursuit of becoming more like Jesus. We have many different generations represented in our church community and peopl

e from all walks of life and backgrounds. Our staff will ensure your entire family feels welcome and that your children also have an exciting experience at church! VWC was born from a vision to see believers worship in Spirit and truth, walk in relationship with and the power of the Holy Spirit, and not just have "church as usual". It began as a small group in the home of Pastor David. Today it is a thriving community of believers in the heart of Bartlesville.

Think About It:

During the Q & A session today, a question was asked of what would the American church be told by Jesus Christ if He were to write a letter to the church in America, what would we be commended on and corrected about. As a pastor (David), I would say, we would be commended for perseverance, but corrected for too much tolerance. What do you think Jesus would say to the church in America today?

"Only 1/4 of the people took ahold of what Jesus said. He appeared to 500 people and told them all the same thing, to wait for the promise of the Father - the Holy Spirit to come. Only 120 were in the upper room." - Jim Whitfield

Think About It:
"Vain jangling" from 1 Timothy 1, is such an appropriate phrase for many of the debates, teachings, and arguments going on about: the Rapture, Israel, the color of Jesus skin and his "real" name, women in ministry, Holy Spirit and His gifts, and living in sin because grace will make up for it.

Did you know ...

There are very few exceptions to the rule, but usually it's over petty things that could have been discussed if one or both sides would have talked it out and then prayed together. I left a church for a wrong reason, even though wrong things were going on, I did not have the Lord's permission. God made me go back and correct myself, not even the leadership. I obeyed and followed through so I didn't have to EVER repeat that again. Live and learn.
.. Now you know

Folks it's called repent of your sins, not reprint of your sins. That might be where some of the confussion is coming from. Bless your heart.
