Bartlesville Musical Research Society Musical Research Society is a Federated Music Club located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The club suppo In 1908, Bartlesville was practically the frontier.

It was just one year since Oklahoma had received statehood, and ten years until Phillips 66 would put this city on the map. But 1908 is the year that a group of dedicated, talented women established the Musical Research Society. In its early decades, the Society was Bartlesville’s primary cultural outlet, staging choral concerts, operettas and talent shows. And a century later, the city has blosso

med, but it still benefits from that musical heritage. And Musical Research Society today continues its support for music performance, education,
and community.
