ited Way. The clinic is fully funded by gifts from individuals, churches, civic groups, foundations and fundraising events. Services offered weekly at GC Free Clinic include:
Acute Clinic for short term illnesses (Tuesdays after 1pm)
Chronic Clinic for those with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes (Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoon)
Medication Refills for our Chronic Patients and some other qualifying patients (Refills called in Tuesday at 1pm)
Most of the patients at Green Country Free Clinic are uninsured, under-insured, or have recently lost their job and health insurance. Last year, over 8,000 medications were provided through Green Country Free Clinic through various patient assistance programs sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. The Clinic was founded in 1990 by a group of local medical professionals and community members. Today, professional medical volunteers and non-medical volunteers regularly donate their time, skills, and health care knowledge to provide care to those living in the Bartlesville community and surrounding areas.
