Ghost Towns In Oklahoma, Inc.

Ghost Towns In Oklahoma, Inc. Ghost Towns In Oklahoma, Inc. is a nonprofit entity that researches the old towns in Oklahoma. Ghost Towns In Oklahoma Inc.

is dedicated to researching and documenting the hundreds of old Oklahoma towns traditionally called "Ghost Towns." Some of these places no longer exist, and some barely exist anymore. Our goal is to work with the local Historical Society offices and museums in each county to help write a book about the Ghost Towns in their area. The proceeds from the book sales, after expenses, will be donated to that county to help fund kids' programs to help them learn about their history.

As the second book (Ghost Towns In Oklahoma - Pottawatomie County) nears completion, we reviewed our pricing. With today's economy, we know it has become more challenging to justify the costs of certain items.

Today, to help readers discover history more affordably, we dropped the price of our books to $12.99.

Keeping with that choice, the first book (Ghost Towns In Oklahoma - Washington County) has been changed to $12.99 on Amazon.

Ghost Towns In Oklahoma - Washington County is the first book in a series covering over 300 towns in Oklahoma that have been identified as Ghost Towns. This first book will cover places like Ringo, Owen, Silver Lake, Oglesby, Hillside, Enosville, and brief information on some of the smaller settl...

The fourth cemetery at Sacred Heart Mission.

Over the years, there has been speculation and confusion about the cemetery across the road from the Church cemetery at Sacred Heart. In my writings and in the upcoming book "Ghost Towns In Oklahoma- Pottawatomie County," I refer to it as the Fourth Cemetery.

This cemetery is a private cemetery and is not connected to the Sacred Heart Mission or the Sacred Heart Cemetery located at the church.

Here are images from the cemetery taken during a recent trip to continue the research on the mission.

FOOTNOTE: Due to rising costs, the almost $6K in work on the car to replace the engine, and resulting vacuum system issues, the next book has been delayed by a couple months. When you live on SS and have to cover all costs for research and travel, budgeting is a major issue in today's economy. Please bear with me, I have not stopped working on the next book.

Things are heating up. I've had multiple attempts from other countries to log into my software accounts over the last month.,

If you use internet-based software like Photoshop or Microsoft Word, you should definitely make sure you use strong passwords and have multiple-level protection.
