We are proud to announce the launch of the Green Country Quail Initiative. The Green Country Quail Initiative is a plan to increase quail populations on WMA’s that are approximately a one-hour drive from the Tulsa Metro area.
The goal of the initiative is to create 1,000 acres of quail habitat annually through matching fund donations to the ODWC. This year our goal is to raise $12,500. When combined with matching funds grants, this $12,500 will turn into $50,000. All of these funds will be used specifically for creating quail habitat on select WMAs. 100% of funds raised goes directly to the project.
For 2025, all of the funds raised will go to a timber thinning project on Cherokee WMA. We would like to thank the ODWC and Cherokee WMA Manager Brent Morgan for their continued partnership.
Quail Forever chapters across the state have pledged thousands of dollars to this goal already, but we still need your help.
A small donation of $30 will create one acre of quail habitat in Eastern Oklahoma and 100% of funds raised will go to this initiative. Your donation is also tax deductible - Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
