How Our Light Must Shine

By doing such good works as men may see, and may approve of such works as are of good report among them that are without, and as will therefore give them cause to think well of Christianity. We must do good works that may be seen to the edification of others, but not that they may be seen to our own ostentation we are bid to pray in secret, and what lies between God and our souls, must be kept to ourselves but that which is of itself open and obvious to the sight of men, we must study to make congruous to our profession, and praiseworthy,

Philippians 4:8. Those about us must not only hear our good words, but see our good works that they may be convinced that religion is more than a bare name, and that we do not only make a profession of it, but abide under the power of it.

Secondly, For what end our light must shine--"That those who see your good works may be brought, not to glorify you (which was the things the Pharisees aimed at, and it spoiled all their performances), but to glorify your Father which is in heaven" Note, The glory of God is the great thing we must aim at in every thing we do in religion,

1 Peter 4:11. In this centre the lines of all our actions must meet. We must not only endeavor to glorify God ourselves, but we must do all we can to bring others to glorify him. The sight of our good works will do this, by furnishing them,

1. With matter for praise "Let them see your good works, that they may see the power of God's grace in you, and may thank him for it, and give him the glory of it, who has given such power unto men"

2. With motives of piety "Let them see your good works, that they may be convinced of the truth and excellency of the Christian religion, may be provoked by a holy emulation to imitate your good works, and so may glorify God."

Each and everyone of us have our own desires, our own selfishness, that help built the gap between God and us. We created our own plans and paths that we know that ain't right but still we pursue. One of the thing I have learned in this time of pandemic is to "ALWAYS FOLLOW HIS WILL". I always prayed that may the plans I have be in accordance to the will of God. For I know I will prosper with Him, and through Him I will be blessed and in Him nothing is impossible!!!

Paano ka ba nagpapakita ng pagmamahal?

Hindi pa sapat na sabihin mo ang magic 3 words, " l love you!" para masabi mong Mahal mo talaga siya. It's 3 seconds to say, but it takes lifetime to prove it.

Madaling sabihin na mahal natin ang isang tao ngunit mahirap patunayan. Pero iba ang nagagawa ng tunay na pagmamahal.

Minsan, may mga tao na hanggang salita lang. Mahal na mahal ko si lord!. Tapos hindi naman nakikita Sa gawa kasi nanatili nalang na hanggang salita. Huwag gano'n kasi ang lahat Ng ating winika o mga ginawa na salita Sa mundong ito ay ating pananagutan Sa Diyos.

📍Sabi sa bible Kasi, "if you love Me, keep My commandments (John 14:15)

Sinabi rito na kung mahal Mo talaga si Lord, mananatili sa puso mo ang kanyang mga salita, napi-please mo Siya. You made God smile. Huwag lang hipokrita. Alam Ni Lord kung pakitang-tao ka lng o buong puso kang sumusunod Sa kanya.

Remember the Pharisees? Mga mapagkunwari sila Sa paningin ng Diyos, ngunit sa tao'y pinapakita nila na sila'y mga masunurin sa Diyos.

Sabi sa Bible, hindi lahat Ng tumatawag na "Lord, Lord". Ay maliligtas? Parang gano'n din. Hindi lahat ng nagsasabing mahal nila ang Diyos ay totoo nila 'tong mahal. Minsan ginagamit lang nila ito sa mga maka-sariling layunin.

Paano mo nga ba maipapakita ang mga pag ibig mo sa Diyos? Minsan, mapapatanong ka pa sa sarili mo kung mahal mo ba talaga Siya. Pumapasok sa isip mo ang mga kasalanang nagawa mo, ang mga bagay na ginawa mo na nakapaglayo sa Kanya, at iba pang gaya nito. Hindi ka perpekto kapatid. Nagkakasala ka. Hindi naman sinabi ni Lord sa 'tin kapag nagko-confess tayo ng mga kasalanan natin na, ' Paulit-ulit nalang 'yan kasalanan mo'. ' Ang mahalaga , you repent ! Gagawin ng demonyo ang lahat, pipigilan ka nila sa kahit anong paraan, 'wag ka lang magsisi. Habang may panahon pa, magsisi ka na dahil hindi ka na makakapagsisi kung Ika'y namatay na. Pahalagahan mo ang buhay mo.

Ang mundong ito'y puno ng temptations. Si Satan na kasi ang God of Word. Kaya minsan hindi natin namamalayan, lumayo na tayo sa Diyos at mas binigyan natin ng halaga ang mga nakikitang bagay dito kaysa sa unseen things.

Paano mo nga ba masasabi na mahal mo talaga Siya? It takes time to answer. Ang hirap magbitaw ng salita na walang katotohanan at pruweba. Mas better na ginagawa mo nalang. Sabi nga 'Actions speaks louder than words.'
