We are a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a thriving and entertaining downtown marketplace in Barstow.

The DBA has many ideas to attract tourists to Barstow and to enhance and entertain Barstow's citizens. Here are some ideas that we are working on:

~ Organizing opportunities for local groups to disseminate information, fund-raise, and volunteer

~ Bringing Grammy-award winning artists to perform in Barstow

~ Creating a regular market event that will draw people downtown

~ Encouraging local and regional businesses to set up shops in the vacant buildings downtown

~ Collaborating with property owners and the city to imporve the downtown infrastructure

And we are open to hear more ideas from YOU! Please contact us if you would like to be involved with making Barstow better!

But there are at least two things we all have in common: We live, work, or shop in Barstow AND we want to help Downtown Barstow become a cultural and economic center for the High Desert. Individuals, non-profits, businesses, and other organizations are all invited to participate!
