FORT IRWIN, Calif. – Get ready for a spooktacular evening of family fun.

U.S. Army MWR will host Sunset in the Park and the MEDDAC Haunted House on Oct. 30, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at The Quadraplex.

The free event will feature a trunk-or-treat, a costume contest for kids and adults, and other family-friendly activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The event is located at 127 Inner Loop Rd., Fort Irwin, CA 92310. To participate in future Fort Irwin events, scan the QR code on the flyer.

If your grocery bill has been hitting a little harder lately, the Fort Irwin Food Pantry is here for you. Whether you’re a junior Soldier, a growing family, a civilian employee, or just trying to make ends meet between paychecks — you are welcome here.

⏰ 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (While Supplies Last)

Community members can receive approximately 20–30 lbs. of free food and diapers. No ID. No income verification. No complicated process. Just neighbors helping neighbors in the desert we all call home.

This program runs because of volunteers — people willing to give a little time to help unload, sort, pack, and support fellow community members. Even a short shift can make a huge difference for a family. VMIS eligible volunteer hours are available.
