Pink the Rink – Outside the Boards was a success! 💗

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out to Tonewood Brewing for a wonderful night in support of the Mena Singer Foundation!

Thank you to those who purchased online raffle tickets (we had several winners!) and to everyone who donated—your generosity truly makes a difference. We’re still in the process of contacting all the winners, so thank you for your patience!

A huge thank you to Mathew Passy of SuiteRecording for capturing the night so beautifully.

We’ll officially “close the books” on this year’s fundraiser in mid-November, so there’s still time to contribute if you haven’t had a chance:

🩷It’s finally happening! 🎉 We can’t wait to see you TONIGHT from 5–9:30 PM at Tonewood!

A few quick notes before the fun begins:
🚗 Parking: It’s a busy fall Saturday, so parking might be tricky. There’s a small lot behind the brewery, additional parking across the railroad tracks, and more in the neighborhood beyond. Don’t stress — great beer, raffles, and awesome people are waiting for you! 🍻

🎟️ Raffle Reminder: Online raffle ticket sales close at 3:00 PM, and in-person sales end at 9:00 PM.

The word “community” has several meanings — but the one we love most is “a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.”

Taking this event outside the rink (and outside our comfort zone) was both exciting and a little intimidating. Would people understand? Would they come together?

Then, just a few days ago, we received word that four baskets were being donated from the Hollydell rink — two from the Hurricanes and two from PHC. We were speechless. It was unexpected, heartfelt, and so meaningful. This was in addition to contributions from the Igloo Jaguars, Flyers Elite, South Jersey Monarchs, Philadelphia Liberties, Pennsauken Pilots, East Coast Yeti, Delco Phantoms, Rosa Ball Hockey, and (indirectly) Stingers Ice Hockey.

That’s what community is.

We’re incredibly grateful for the hockey community and beyond — and we can’t wait to see everyone this Saturday. 🩷
