Henrietta's Heart "Together we can make a difference"

Henrietta's Heart "Together we can make a difference" Our mission is to educate and help guide our youth in making better life decisions for themselves, by sharing our story and experience.

"Henrietta's Heart" was established after a drive-by shooting, resulting in the murder of 77yr old Henrietta Creech in her home November 28th, 2020. Henrietta was mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to so many people in her community. A woman with a heart of gold. A woman who did not deserve to die. A woman who deserves justice. A woman whose death can make a change. Please join in

the movement to help our youth and any individual make better decisions and change from their negative environment to end the violence. Our nation, our communities should not live in fear. So many innocent lives are being taken every hour of the day. We MUST start showing our youth we CARE about them. Violence leave long-lasting trauma that never goes away, that NO FAMILY should have to deal with.

Happy Monday!! This Saturday June 7th, we will be CLOSED to pay tribute to the strength of survivors and victim's families affected by gun violence. Our owner's mother, a victim of a drive-by shooting in 2020, has motivated a walk/rally on Sat, June 7th.

We hope you'll participate and show your support. 🧡🎗

The weather is forecasting 50% chance of rain. We will pray the rain shifts to another day🙏🏽

"I am the mom of two boys: my oldest, Ahmaud Hunter, who watches out for me and my youngest, 6-year-old Winston Hunter, who now watches over me."

Met Courtney Hunter today.

Her 6-year-old son, Winston, was killed in a drive-by on May 13, 2022, days before his kindergarten graduation.

Courtney felt disbelief, anger, and numbness holding him.

She’s fighting for justice.

Six suspects, two convicted. Courtney founded the Through the Eyes of Winston Foundation to raise awareness.

She spoke at the 4th Annual Victims Matter Rally, calling for action and accountability.

Numerous families in our communities have been impacted and suffered by senseless gun violence. This topic alone stirrs up tragic memories and sometimes anger. I want you to know you are not alone in this struggle.

We are preparing for our 2025 gun violence walk, to be held on the first Saturday in June. If you would like your loved one featured along the walking trail, please contact me. 🧡
