Barnwell County HEALing Partners, is proud to support families this summer through our Summer Harvest Program in partnership Harvest.
We understand that summer break can place additional strain on families when regular school and childcare meal supports are unavailable. Our goal is to help bridge that gap by providing nutritious, child-friendly food bags filled with healthy meal and snack options to help keep our youngest community members nourished and thriving throughout the summer months.
Because every child deserves access to healthy food, growing opportunities, and a strong start in life. 💚

We are happy to announce that we will be hosting a "Summer Harvest" giveaway through partnership with Golden Harvest Food Bank on May 14th ,4-6pm@ Ned Branch Church. The purpose of this distribution is to reach families with children (to supplant food during the summer). Please help spread the word.

The Axis i Center will be hosting its annual Child Abuse Awareness Walk on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:0 PM-7:00 PM. We are excited to have the following vendors participating in the event this year: Save the Children. Barnwell County DSS, Safe Kids, Barnwell County HEALing Partners, Barnwell Farmers' Market, Barnwell Family YMCA, Barnwell Sheriff's Office, Cumbee Center, Barnwell Library, Brighter Beginnings/Creative Kidz Learning Centers, SC Department of Children's Advocacy, Center for Heirs Property, and Kadyn's Kandies. We will have Sipping Pretty selling those delicious Dirty Sodas, Russell's Pizza, and Earnest Parker with their fabulous food trucks.

Let’s Rise Up Together, Barnwell County! 🌅

Starting this January, Community of Hope Ministry is stepping out in faith to launch the Rise Up Program.

In partnership with the Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Young Rosemary Missionary Baptist Church, Golden Harvest Food Bank and hopefully many other local partners, we are hitting the streets in 2026 to find our homeless neighbors and provide them with the essentials they desperately need—food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.

We are walking by faith and not by sight, but we need our community to walk with us. We are asking all churches, ministry's, and Community to Rise Up and partner with us.

👇 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 👇 We are collecting items that many of us take for granted. Please consider donating:
• Food: Ready-to-eat meals (preferably with pop-top lids), snacks, and drinks non-perishable food.
• Warmth: Coats and blankets.
• Hygiene: Toothpaste, soap, towelettes, combs, and other basics.
