What a full 2025 it was for our Department!
This past year we responded to 196 calls.
54 Fire related calls
142 Medical calls
64 of the 142 medical calls we had only 1 First Responder make it to.
We have 15 current active Fire Fighters on the department. 7 of those are also First Responders. Which means 7 members in our geographical coverage area made it to 142 calls!
All of who also work full time jobs and most with kids in school and sports.
While we wish we could respond to every page, we just dont have the man power to do so which is why we are incredibly grateful fkr our neighboring departments for mutual aid coverage!
Thank you to Moose Lake Area Fire District, Blackhoof Fire Department, Mahtowa Fire & Auxiliary, Kettle River Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders, Carlton Fire and Ambulance and Essentia Ambulance Crews. We also want yo tank our local Law Enforcement Team, State Patrol and our tow truck companies.
Being a First Responder is a team effort and we are Thankful to have each of you!
As always we are looking for new members. No experience needed, we will train you!
