Good news! We will have a limited number of extra 2025–2026 West Villages Elementary yearbooks available for purchase while supplies last!

If you missed the original ordering deadline via Lifetouch, this is your chance to grab a copy filled with special memories from an amazing school year. 💙⭐

📅 Distribution Day: June 18
📍 Extra copies will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Please note:
• Quantities are limited.
• Once we sell out, no additional copies will be available.
• We will update families if inventory gets low.

Yearbooks cost $20 each, free for all 3rd graders.

Field Day is next week on June 9,2026 (Rain date 6/10)

1. Fill out the Volunteer Portal online application

2. Make sure to fill out what programs (schools) you would like and any skills or causes you are interested in. In addition, sign the volunteer agreement under “qualifications”.

3. Fill out a CORI and turn it in, along with having your ID scanned, at a Barnstable Public School or the FCEC (141 Bassett Ln, Hyannis) - you will be pending until your application is sent through the central registry (usually 1-2 weeks)

4. If you are approved, you will receive an email saying you are qualified, and you will be able to look at any open opportunities.

5. Schools will be able to see your approved application after the previous steps are completed.

The FCEC is open Monday-Friday 9:00am-400pm at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center to run CORI/ID checks and the local schools are open during their typical hours.

We are still looking for volunteers for our rain date 6/22 and for games/ice/coolers to be brought to the beach or turned in to pto to bring it to the field trip.

Cori check is needed for all volunteers, so time is ticking to get those approved prior to the event.

June Fun Fridays & End-of-Year Events

As we wrap up an amazing school year, we’re excited to celebrate with special FUN Friday For all activities, spirit days, and special events for our students and staff!

Boosterthon Fun Run was a sucess!
Goal: $20,000
Total: $31,725

Thank you everyone who helped us raise so much money towards our fundraising goals. A special thank you to all business donors and community partners for your generosity!

During our Fun Run, we honored two teachers who will be retiring this year and they were presented the ALL STAR TEACHER Award! Thank you Mrs. Bridges and Mrs. Dunne for your dedication and impact you made in so many kid’s education and lives.

Tomorrow, all students are allowed to come dressed in their PJs! That was our principal challenge PJ DAY award for hitting our fundraising goals!

As we finish our space-themed Boosterthon fundraiser this week, all students will enjoy a Rocket Pop frozen treat to celebrate a successful fundraiser and kick off our very first Friday Fun For All activity!

Age-appropriate music and games that encourage creativity while developing gross motor and cognitive skills.

2nd–3rd Grade:2:30–3:15 PM:

Active games and activities focused on teamwork, sportsmanship, listening skills, and fun!
