We are reminding you that re-enrollments submitted and payment must be done by December 1, 2024 for your child to participate at the 2025 Fair and to attend 4-H club meetings and events. If you do not see your name on the list you only have 5 days left to enroll!

If you have any questions, please reach out to Jessica or I at the office. We will be here until Wednesday; after that, we will not have access to email or at the office for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Youth cannot attend club meetings after December 1 or show at FAIR without re-enrolling, so they are covered by insurance and all required boxes are checked in ZSuite.

We are always looking for more Shooting Sports Volunteers! Please reach out to Ryan at the office for more information!

4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Certification Trainings - save the dates for 2025!

Interested adults don't have to be expert marksmen to become involved in the program and have fun, meet new people, and encourage the next generation of youth!

All sessions are 9am-5pm. 2025 dates include:

• March 15 in Kane County (northern Illinois)
• May 10 in Piatt County (central Illinois)
• July 19 in Franklin County (southern Illinois)

Contact your local Extension Office for more info or to get registered. Registration for each session will close one week prior so we can plan accordingly. Disciplines offered will be Archery, Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol, and Coordinator. We hope to see you there!

The Wayne County 4-H Ambassadors are collecting personal care items for locations in Wayne County from November 11-December 11, 2024. We hope you will donate items and bring them to the Wayne County Extension Office at 2B Frontier Dr, Fairfield, IL 62837.

We are accepting the following items:
Soap bars
body wash
Shampoo
tampons
sanitation pads
toothpaste
toothbrush
hot hands
deodorant
socks
gloves
etc.

4-H members and those interested in 4-H are encouraged to stop by the Extension office to Trick or Treat. If you still need to enroll in 4-H for the 2024-2025 year you can do that as well. We will have everything you need to enroll in ZSuites that evening. Each NEW MEMBER that enrolls these nights will get a special 4-H giveaway while supplies last.

Experience Award Opportunity: 4-H Clubs or 4-H Families can donate Candy for the Trick Or Treat Enrollment Night at the Extension office! Please bring bags of Candy to the Office by October 26th!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO RSVP!

Thanks to the generosity of the Wayne County 4-H Foundation, we will have another dinner served at our Achievement Night! Every 4-H member and their family are invited to attend to recognize the hard work our members have done over the last year and see their accomplishments.

RSVP by 4:30 today to the Extension Office!

The 2024-2025 4-H year has officially begun and ENROLLMENT IS OPEN!

Re-enrollment Deadline: December 1, 2024
New Member Deadline: March 1, 2025
Families should have received instructions on how to re-enroll on ZSuite by mail, TeamReach and email. If you are NEW to 4-H reach out to us at the office for instructions on how to enroll!

Re-enrollment Process:
Youth must be enrolled to be covered by insurance before they participate in any club/county/state activities & meetings. (There is a very short grace period covering members during the September rollover to the new program year.)
Youth must complete the ZSuite online re-enrollment process, check the appropriate boxes (risk, photo, medical, etc.), parents must complete the parent code of conduct and pay the enrollment fee before they participate in any club/county/state activities & meetings.

Please fill out the publication order form and return it to the office by either December 1 or March 1. Those are the only 2 orders we will be placing.
Youth cannot attend club meetings after December 1 without re-enrolling, so they are covered by insurance and all required boxes are checked in ZSuite.
Youth cannot participate in events/trips until they have re-enrolled.
