The Belmont County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society meeting is Sunday, March 09, 2025, at 3:00 P.M., in the Genealogy Room, at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library, 308 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio.

We are excited to have our first meeting of the year. For our current members and new members .our program for the meeting is sharing Childhood Memories. Come and join us and have fun finding your family roots.

The Belmont County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society Annual Picnic and Meeting Sunday, August 11, 2024 Social hour
at 2 PM eat at 3PM. Will be at Stillwater Quaker Meetinghouse, 61830 Sandy Ridge Rd., Barnesville, Ohio 43713 Bring a covered dish to share. We will have ham, drink, plate, silverware, & cups.

Directions: a little east of Barnesville on State Route 147 turn
onto Roosevelt Rd. and follow it until ends at Sandy Ridge Rd.
The Meetinghouse is straight ahead.

Our program is Elder Ronald & Sister Linda Chapman from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Program will be on Family Search.

Meetings are free and open to the public you do not have to be a member.

The Belmont County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at 3:00 P.M., in the Genealogy Room, at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library, 308 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio.

We will have 2 speakers Elder Morgan & Elder James. They are from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Salt Lake City, Utah. They are going to talk about the new free website to help us find more of our family members.

Come share in the fellowship. Meetings are free and open to the public; you do not have to be a member to attend. Come to learn more about genealogy.

The Belmont County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society meeting will be Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at 3:00 P.M., in the Genealogy Room, at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library, 308 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio.

A message from the Barnesville Library. They are working in the library doing floors and other items. The library will not be ready until Oct 10. We will have our meeting on Sunday, Oct 15, 2023.

Come and join us to find your ancestors and build your family tree. The meetings are open to the public and hope to see you there.
