A little kindness goes a long way. ❤️

Meet Shealgh, one of our wonderful volunteers! Over the past few weeks, she’s been handing out new clothes and shoes to our guests, sharing a warm smile along the way.

We’re so grateful for volunteers like Shealgh who show up, go the extra mile, and help our guests feel welcomed and cared for.

Thank you, Shealgh, for giving your time and your heart! And thank you to ALL our volunteers and donors for everything you do for this community ❤️

In August, the Starve Poverty Food Pantry served 1,246 neighbors. Every item on our shelves helps us welcome the next person who needs support. ❤️

You can help from home: choose an item from our Amazon Wishlist and have it sent to the pantry. Pantry staples and household essentials all make a difference.

Thank you for helping us keep the shelves stocked for our neighbors!

Meet some of our youngest donors!

Liliana and Adalina sold jewelry and donated $20 from their sales to Starve Poverty International. We love seeing their creativity and kindness make a difference in our community.

Thank you, Liliana and Adalina, for your generous hearts and thank you to their mom, Jennifer, for letting us share this special moment❤️

Our hearts go out to our friends at The Cheese Shoppe after the flooding at their Beach Haven location. They have been so generous to Starve Poverty and the families we serve, and we’re grateful for all they do for our community. ❤️

Please keep their team in your prayers as they recover. Their Surf City location is open if you’d like to show them some love!!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our Beach Haven Cheese Shoppe will be closed until further notice due to the extreme flooding caused by the late September nor'easter.

We are incredibly thankful for the support of our customers and community during this difficult time. While our Beach Haven location recovers, we're happy to share that our Surf City location is open and ready to serve you, featuring the largest selection of fine cheeses and gourmet specialties on Long Beach Island.

We hope to welcome everyone back to Beach Haven as soon as possible. Until then, please visit us in Surf City. Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience.

If you are able to help our employees through this difficult time, here is a GoFundMe. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-lbi-cheese-shoppe-employees

Heartfelt thanks,
