Pound Dog*Found Dog Rescue, Inc., a New Jersey Nonprofit Organization, is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) group of dedicated men and women formed and incorporated in 2016. After working within the rescue community for the past 15 years and collectively placing hundreds of dogs into adoptive homes, we have organized a small rescue targeting small young/adult/senior dogs who may be overlooked, yet deserv

ing of rescue. As a foster-based organization we have no physical facility and exist solely on the generosity of volunteers and foster families.

Siamese twins? Nope.
Bonded? For sure!
Fifi and Mimi are delightful sisters who have emerged unscathed from a wretched hoarding situation. Still shy but lapping up all the attention in their foster home. They are friendly with everyone, go into their zoomies at night and then settle down peacefully in their crates. They are very comfortable around other dogs and pretty much have house training down to a science. The girls are about two years old with no medical issues. The only thing they’re missing is a home to call their own.

Can you help us?
For the first time ever we are truly in a bind with the dogs here at Pound Dog. With summer vacations and folks now preparing for the school year, adoptions are slow and our dogs are at capacity.
Could you consider temporarily fostering this little gem? Piper is a delightful 22 pound beagle beauty, two years old. She is housetrained and gets along very well with the dogs in her foster home, but she is lacking space, individual attention, and a yard to play in.
Can you provide a temporary home for Piper? We will supply everything she needs, you provide some much-needed attention. And who knows, you may have found your new best friend! And come on..those ears!

Have you ever wanted the company of a dog without having to bear any expenses? Are you a pug person? Consider “forever fostering” Mimi!
Mimi was abandoned by her owner and she has been with us for several months. She is in our Forever Foster Program, meaning Pound Dog will pay for Mimi’s expenses for life if you would open your home and heart to her and love her as your own. A win/win for everyone.
Mimi is a diva who loves attention, perfect for someone who's around much of the day. She would love to spend her golden years with someone who will never abandon her. Mimi is spayed and up to date with vaccinations and can easily live with other dogs. She is in Barnegat NJ.

Now we know. They’re bonded!
After spending two weeks with these goofballs it’s clear that they weren’t just hoarding mates but have forged a true bond with each other. (watch the videos) The good news is that two chihuahas is always better than one! Is this your breed? Then you’ll love these two!

Welcome Henry!
This little guy was part of a hoarding case but he’s no worse for wear. Two years old and 22 pounds, after spending his life in such unpleasant surroundings, he’s ready to start his happily ever after. Henry wants to be a lap dog, he’s very affectionate yet respectful of personal space. He’s playful but calm and enjoys his time with the other dogs in his foster home. His breed? Your guess is as good as ours, but he may very well be related to his two little buddies in the photo below.

Welcome Reese!
Any ideas about her breed? Maltese/schnauzer? Whatever her mix, Reese is an absolutely delightful 22 pound two year-old. She has an easy-going personality and she wants to be your companion for life. Her foster mom reports her favorite activity is going for walks, playing with toys and head scratching. She will do great with respectful kids and gets along well with other dogs. She checks all the boxes for sure!
Reese housetrained, up-to-date with vaccinations and will be spayed by this rescue. And…she’s a non-shedder!

Welcome Mr. Fox!
This handsome two year old is always smiling and his tail is always swishing happily. At 22 pounds full grown he’s a confident little guy who gets along with other dogs but loves the individual attention he receives in his foster home. And as you can see he wanted to be the co- co-pilot with the angels who provided his safe landing.
Fox is up to date with vaccs and will be neutered by this rescue asap. He’s being fostered in Barnegat NJ

Desperately seeking saviors..
Fifi and Mimi were removed from a sweltering trailer in a hoarding situation of over 70 dogs. Despite this, they are two very sweet, shy chihuahuas who hold no grudges. They are tiny, just ten pounds. They have been treated for their skin conditions, brought up to date with vaccs and spayed. They can arrive on Friday if we can get a foster for one or both of them. If you are local to the Ocean or Monmouth County NJ area can you consider helping these sweet girls? All supplies and support provided.

Just a girl and her ears.
We are all in love with Piper and you will be too! Our two year old beagle is a perfect foster pup and those gentle soulful eyes will melt your heart. Piper is very companionable with dogs and humans and will make a wonderful addition to a loving home. She is up to date with vaccines and will be spayed by this rescue. Fostered in Barnegat NJ. We just can’t say enough about her.
And oh those ears!
