501c3 NJ-based nonprofit organization focusing on dogs needing a little extra time, care and compassion during their time in foster care.

Pound Dog*Found Dog Rescue, Inc., a New Jersey Nonprofit Organization, is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) group of dedicated men and women formed and incorporated in 2016. After working within the rescue community for the past 15 years and collectively placing hundreds of dogs into adoptive homes, we have organized a small rescue targeting small young/adult/senior dogs who may be overlooked, yet deserv

ing of rescue. As a foster-based organization we have no physical facility and exist solely on the generosity of volunteers and foster families.

We love seniors! Welcome Mimi!
You’d never know she‘s 15. This is what her foster family says…
“She’s a lot stronger, faster, and healthier than we thought!
She’s doing very well and shows no negative signs of anything being wrong with her. She eats, drinks, goes outside, RUNS AND JUMPS(!!!), and super excited for you to be with her.
Honestly, she’s doing wonderfully and we love her!!!”
She did not belong in a shelter. Want to be her hero?

Looking for local fosters for one of these sweet potatoes.
Zoe, Gracie and Adia need some individual attention as they wait for their forever homes. The girls are sweet 4 month olds, very affectionate and learning the we**ee pad, but are now ready to venture outside to learn proper housetraining. All materials and support provided. Must be local to the Jersey shore area.
Everyone needs a puppy fix once in awhile!

Little Gracie is trying to cozy up to the resident Alyce in her foster home but Alyce is playing hard to get!
Gracie is one of six 4- month old 6 lb. beagle mixes, one cuter than the other. All females. They will be small, dad is a Jack Russell. You can see them all at www.pounddogfounddog.org and please share with your puppy-living friends.

Welcome Boo Bear!
Boo found himself in a shelter when the only mom he knew passed away, but not before she gave him a wonderful life which we hope will continue in his golden years.
You‘d never know Boo is 12! His heart is great and he’s on no medication. He loves walking at a good pace and sees and hears clearly. He’s very well adjusted and makes himself comfy anywhere and he’s fine with dogs and people. He would love a home with lots of love, frequent walks and someone to snuggle with. And did we mention he’s totally housetrained?

Two years ago we brought in 5 doxie mixes from a hoarder in NYC. One of them needed emergency care and upon examination, Laura Cromal DVM asked if she could keep him overnight, and she never let him go. Diagnosed with Cushings Disease Dr. Cromal nursed Howie back to health, and not only is he the darling of her veterinary practice, he’s also the master of the treadmill.
Always grateful to Dr. Laura for her dedication to all her patients, but especially for making this guy a part of her own canine crew.

We have puppies!
Looking for fosters for our 12-week old beagle mix babies, all females except for Andy. Arriving Saturday April 11, born and raised in a private home. Foster homes must be near the Barnegat NJ area and all supplies are provided.

Any rescue friends near Vineland NJ who can visit a little one we’d like to bring into our Forever Foster Program?
Binky is a senior Yorkie found as a stray abandoned likely because of his age. We don’t want to see him linger in a shelter. If you can do a minor assessment of Binky at the Associated Humane Society South in Vineland please reach out or share?

Then and now…
Lottie was found roaming in freezing weather. Neighbors told the rescuer she was removed from the home because owners had a new puppy, but here in NJ Lottie found her forever family and she has long forgotten the neglect in her past!
Always grateful for the street rescuers who use their time and their own resources to create happy endings for our deserving dogs. All the credit goes to them. ❤️
