Dear Toy Run Foundation supporters, fellow motorcycle riders, family, friends and members of the community:

As of right now the weather forecast is showing rain towards the afternoon. We have decided to hold the Toy Run this Sunday October 11, possibly modifying the route a little shorter. We have tried to re-schedule for another date but unfortunately there were too many logistical barriers that prevented us from doing so. The Toy Run Foundation still would like to fulfill our mission of raising toys so we can bring smiles to needy kids’ faces on Christmas day. For those of you who are not inclined to ride in the rain, please consider coming in your car, truck, SUV during registration and make a donation, drop off your toys, buy a t-shirt and meet us at the St. Mary’s Parish Center (our end site) where we can share a meal at around 2:00 pm. We will also be glad to meet you at our end site where we will be serving food and continuing to collect donations, toys and sell t-shirts. It is unfortunate that it seems mother nature isn’t cooperating but we remain optimistic that we can fulfill our mission and the weather will clear up so we can go for a nice dry motorcycle ride.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Southern Regional High School parking lot, Route 9 Manahawkin, NJ. Please consider bringing a gift for kids ages 14 to 16 years old ($15 - $18 value) plus $10.00 per person to register. A Commemorative Pin will be given to the first 300 registered participants. Run leaves at 12:30 p.m.(police escorted) traveling a modified scenic route through the Pines, ending at St. Mary’s Parish Center, Manahawkin, for food and drinks.

Please feel free to forward this information to other Toy Run Foundation supporters. If you are not a motorcycle rider and would like to donate, please feel free to stop by on that day or contact me to make pickup or drop off arrangements.

Good morning,

Saturday Aug 22nd, 10:00 AM at Mariners, we will be holding a Gold and Silver Token Degree to honor longtime brothers of Mariners, Tuckerton, and Harmony - Sunrise Lodge.
This degree is open to all Master Masons, please consider joining us to honor our brothers. What a better way then full sidelines!.

That same day, at noon, at The Captain's Inn, The 20th Masonic District Association will be holding our annual District Awards Luncheon.
This is open to ALL, including friends and family. Please consider joining us to honor the hard work of many of our brothers.
The cost for the luncheon is $65 per person. Please see your WM, or any district board member for tickets.
