I worked at a disaster relief site in Norman, OK on Friday and I sorted lots of packages, whose contents are going to victims of the Moore, OK tornado. I encountered several packages from your organization. I just wanted to say thank you all for your gifts. They are very much appreciated.

We would like to thank all of those who have been donating to our "OPERATION OKLAHOMA' Donation drive. We have received thousands of items and some money to purchase gift cards to send. To avoid further stressing those on the ground in OK. in what many Sandy Volunteers refer to as the 'Disaster After the Disaster' where donations were piled into trucks and dropped to spend hours, even days sorting, we have worked hard to sort, organize and pack all items sorted by category in labeled boxes... to ease the stress that many are already facing. Items will begin to depart on Tuesday...

We at Stand Together And Give Inc. are currently in contact with organizers on site in the devastated State of Oklahoma. While the outpouring of donations to Oklahoma City and Moore have been piling in, multiple Counties in the surrounding area are still very much in need. It has been requested that the purchase of gift cards be made to make things easier on the heavily stressed situation and volunteers helping in those areas. Gift cards are easier, get there faster and 100% goes directly to those in need since there is no major shipping of goods etc.

115 DAYS LATER: The last Jersey shore town to be closed to residents after Sandy is finally letting residents come home. Mantoloking will allow residents to return to the battered barrier island town on Friday. It sustained some of the worst damage -- the town was literally cut in two. Despite the re-population -- officials don't expect many residents to move in right away because so few homes are habitable yet. We want to know, if you live in the borough, will you be returning home this Friday?
