Need a REAL ID, license renewal, new title, or help registering your e-bike? The NJMVC Mobile Unit will be at our Mobile Community Wellness & Resource Fair, bringing these convenient services right here to Stafford Township!

A Code Red Heat Advisory has been officially activated for Ocean County starting Thursday, August 6, through Monday, August 10, 2026.

This activation is triggered by weather conditions reaching the hazardous threshold of a 90-degree heat index.

All participating sites will operate from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These locations serve as multi-agency engagement hubs, providing guests with climate-controlled relief as well as critical access to housing assistance and supportive services from third-party providers and outreach teams.

Did you know there are zero food pantries in the Southern Ocean County area that are open on Friday?! Food insecurity may not be our primary mission, but when rooted in kindness, our volunteers go the extra mile to assist. Today, handmade meals were packaged with care and delivered to individuals who reached out asking for help finding food. ✝️

In June, our organization hosted its bi-annual backpack stuffing event, where volunteers contributed their time to sort donations and prepare seasonal backpacks for distribution to individuals and organizations supporting our unsheltered neighbors. This summer, a total of 136 backpacks were distributed. Appreciation is extended to Gail for capturing photos of the event.

The local nonprofits we were able to gift backpacks to in order to further their efforts this year included: Destiny’s Bridge, Tom’s River Housing Coalition, Ken’s Kitchen, Starve Poverty, St, Theresa’s Food Pantry & St Mary’s P.A.T.H.
