💛 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO LILY SMITH! 💛

We Care Foundation would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Lily Smith for her generous donation of food items!

Thanks to her kindness, we were able to share these items with several local families who could use a little extra help.

It’s acts of kindness like this that remind us how wonderful our community truly is. What may seem like a small gesture can make a big difference to someone else.

🎗️ EVERY CHILD HAS A STORY WORTH SHARING! 💛

Calling all parents and caregivers of childhood cancer fighters, survivors, and our forever young angels. 💛

At We Care Foundation, we believe every child’s story matters, and we would be honored to help share yours.

We are looking for local families who would be willing to share their child’s journey so we can feature their story on our We Care Foundation page.

Whether your child is currently fighting, is a survivor, or is forever young, their journey deserves to be recognized, their courage honored, and their story told. 💛

You do NOT have to be a We Care Foundation family to participate! Our goal is to raise awareness, celebrate these incredible children, honor those who will forever hold a place in our hearts, and help our community better understand the realities of childhood cancer.

If you are interested, we would love for you to answer a few questions about your child’s journey. We will use your answers to create a special Facebook post dedicated to honor your child, with your permission.

🎗️💛 DO YOU KNOW A CHILD FIGHTING CANCER? WE WANT TO HELP! 💛🎗️

If you know a family with a child who is battling childhood cancer, we would love for you to tell them about We Care Foundation!

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer and their families throughout Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.

We know that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, the entire family’s world changes. Between doctor appointments, hospital stays, treatments, missed work, and everyday expenses, the emotional and financial stress can become overwhelming.

💛 That’s where We Care Foundation comes in!

Our mission is to help ease some of those burdens so families can focus on what matters most, their child.

Through the generosity of our donors and supporters, we work to provide assistance such as:

💛 Gas cards to help families travel to and from treatments and medical appointments.

💛 Nutritional drinks and supplies to help meet the needs of children undergoing treatment.

💛 Emergency financial assistance to help with essential bills when families are facing difficult times.

💛 Compassion, encouragement, and support so families know they are not walking this journey alone.

💛 THIS IS WHY WE CARE 💛

At the end of the day, We Care Foundation isn’t about events, fundraisers, T-shirts, car shows, or numbers.

It’s about children.

It’s about the child sitting in a hospital room when they should be sitting in a classroom.

It’s about the parents trying to stay strong when they are terrified.

It’s about the brothers and sisters whose lives change too.

It’s about the families driving back and forth to treatment, missing work, juggling bills, and trying to create some sense of normal in a situation that is anything but normal.

It’s about celebrating the survivors. 🎗️

It’s about standing beside the fighters. 💛

And it’s about forever remembering the children who are no longer here, whose lives and stories will never be forgotten.

That is why We Care exists.

We can’t take cancer away.

But we CAN make sure families know there are people standing beside them.

We can help ease a burden.

We can show up.

We can give.

We can volunteer.

We can raise awareness.

We can remind a family that their community cares.

And every time you support We Care Foundation, you become part of that.

So as we end this week of sharing more about who we are, we have one simple request:

Please don’t just follow our page. Help us grow our mission.

Share our story. Tell someone about us. Get involved. And help us reach the next family who needs to hear these words:

💛 LOCAL BUSINESSES, WE NEED YOU TOO!

Some of the greatest things we have been able to accomplish have happened because people and businesses in our community decided to get involved.

There are so many ways a business can partner with We Care Foundation.

You can sponsor an event, donate a product or service, host a fundraiser, choose We Care for a give-back day, encourage employees to volunteer, help us spread awareness, or simply ask:

“What do you need?”

That question can open the door to something incredible.

And partnership doesn’t have to mean just one event.

We would love to build relationships with businesses and organizations that want to stand beside We Care throughout the year as we continue growing our mission and reaching more families.

🎗️ WHEN YOU SUPPORT WE CARE, YOU ARE HELPING FAMILIES RIGHT HERE AT HOME.

Childhood cancer isn’t something happening somewhere else.

It is happening to children in our communities.

It is happening to families who live in Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.

Families who may be driving hours for treatment.

Parents who are trying to keep working while also being beside their child.

Families trying to keep the lights on, put gas in the car, care for their other children, and somehow hold everything together while facing something no parent ever imagines they will have to face.

That is why local support matters.

When our community supports We Care Foundation, it gives us the ability to turn around and support families in our community when they need it.

Neighbors helping neighbors.

Communities taking care of their own.

People saying, “You don’t have to do this alone.”

That’s what We Care is all about. 💛

💛 YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE A LOT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

One of the biggest misconceptions about helping a nonprofit is that you have to write a big check.

You don’t.

There are SO many ways you can help We Care Foundation continue supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

🎗️ Share our posts so more families learn about us.
🎗️ Invite your friends to follow our page.
🎗️ Volunteer at one of our events.
🎗️ Attend our fundraisers and bring your family and friends.
🎗️ Donate an item, service, or gift for an upcoming fundraiser.
🎗️ Ask your workplace or business to get involved.
🎗️ Make a donation, no matter the amount.
🎗️ Most importantly, help us keep talking about childhood cancer.

Sometimes the person who shares one of our posts helps us reach a family who didn’t know we were here.

Sometimes one introduction leads to a new volunteer, donor, sponsor, or community partner.

Never underestimate what one small act can start.

💛 WHAT DOES YOUR SUPPORT ACTUALLY DO?

Sometimes people want to help but wonder, “Will what I can give really make a difference?”

YES.

Support for We Care Foundation helps us assist families dealing with the very real expenses and challenges that come with having a child fighting cancer.

It can mean helping a family with gas to get to treatment, providing nutritional drinks a child needs, or helping with an emergency expense when a family is already stretched beyond its limits.

You don’t have to make a huge donation to make an impact.

When a whole community gives a little, shares a little, volunteers a little, and cares a LOT, those small acts become something pretty incredible.

That is why we are called We Care. 💛

What an incredible day filled with love, laughter, amazing memories, and a community coming together for a cause that means so much to us!

While the photos may be coming to an end, our mission never stops. We will continue fighting for childhood cancer awareness and supporting the children and families who need us most. 💛
