This event is more than just a walk. It is a day dedicated to honoring childhood cancer fighters, survivors, angels, and the families walking through the unimaginable.

🎗️ Childhood cancer does not just affect a child… it impacts an entire family. Many families travel hours for pediatric cancer treatment while trying to balance work, bills, and caring for their child.

When a child is diagnosed, life changes overnight. Parents often miss work, lose income, or leave jobs completely to become full-time caregivers during treatment. Hospital stays can happen suddenly, leaving families struggling with gas, food, utilities, and basic necessities.

That is where We Care Foundation steps in. 💛

We are proud to be one of the Arkansas organizations helping childhood cancer families directly. Because of YOUR donations, we are able to provide:

The Because We Care Car Show 2026, presented by Definite Obsessions River Valley Chapter, is happening with the Because We Care Walk 2026!

Saturday, September 19, 2026, at River Bend Event Center, 1400 S 6th St., Fort Smith, AR.

We are looking for classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, lifted trucks, lowered trucks, Jeeps, imports, motorcycles, custom builds, daily drivers, unfinished projects, special interest vehicles, and anything you are proud to park and show off!

This is more than a car show, it is a day to support children fighting cancer and their families. Every registration helps We Care Foundation provide gas cards, We Care Kits, nutritional support, scholarships, camp sponsorships, and family assistance.

📅 Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
🚗 Same-day registration
💵 $20 per vehicle
⏰ Registration opens: 8:00 AM
🏆 Judging begins: 11:00 AM
🏅 Awards: 2:30 PM

Join We Care Foundation on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at River Bend Event Center as we come together during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to honor, support, and stand beside children and families facing childhood cancer.

This walk is more than an event — it is a day of hope, remembrance, community, and action. Every step helps raise awareness and funds to support We Care Foundation’s programs, including gas card assistance, We Care Kits, nutritional support, scholarships, camp sponsorships, and family support for children diagnosed with cancer and their families across Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.
