What a fantastic Army day!! Congratulations to these new Drill Sergeants!! So many say things about the future of the Army, and what it should look like. These troops stepped forward and are working towards impacting that future with their leadership and mentorship of the Soldiers they will train. I am honestly proud of these troops, I know the future of our Army is safe in their hands!

A couple of months ago we got the honor of being able to promote some outstanding NCOs to Staff Sergeant, big congratulations to SSG Jonah Sharp and SSG Zachary Sawyer! You both have displayed incredible leadership skills and have been top contributors for many training events. Thank you for your hard work!

Had a great time out at the range this past week. 354 conducted the M4, M320, and M17 ranges along with the Norwegian foot March! Several of the Drill Sergeants received awards and recognition for their time on the trail this year during our BN town hall. I am beyond blessed to work with such professionals!!

Congratulations to all the Soldiers who participated in the Best Warrior Competition this year at Fort Sill, OK. Also congratulations to our own, CPL Phillpott for being recognized as runner up Soldier of the Year for 95th Division! What you see here is a group of highly motivated leaders celebrating each other’s success. What you don’t see are the extremely windy, wet, cold conditions in which they conducted their operations in, all while maintaining a high level of motivation and moral. I am extremely proud of each and every one of our Soldiers! THIS WE’LL DEFEND!

Today our Drill Sergeants got to grade an ROTC event at a local high school. Different schools came from several states to compete. I must say, these kids were absolutely amazing! It was a great day to get out and not only help the community, but take part in this awesome event!
