The Masonic Lodge #499 in Bardwell Ky honored Mr Jimmie Carter with his 75 year pinning. They so graciously invited the VFW Post # 5409 and American Legion Post #3 Mr Jimmie Carter has been a member of both for 78 years. Carlisle Count Judge Executive pronounce Saturday March 7th as Jimmie Carter day in Carlisle County!! Mr Carter will be 102 years young in June. He is the oldest living vet and only living WWII vet in Carlisle County

We partnered up with Graceland Portable Buildings on our annual fall food drive. Once again they came through with a tremendous donation of food. We want to thank everyone that works there and donated. Special thanks to Ms Jennifer Quillen and Ms Amy Esterbrook for always leading this up and helping load and unload. Several gentlemen helped load at their place. Ms Jennifer actually drove a load in her vehicle and had her husband help us unload. We have organized the food already filled up small pantry boxes within community and had several veterans already shop. We are going to take food that is left over to local church food banks next week

Post 5409 went and filled up 4 of our local pantry boxes. We try to do our part in helping our little community out
