Stunning Kentucky spring day with some stunning bourbons! Our partners at Preservation Distillery released their Rare Perfection 10 Year today and boy was it fantastic. The incredibly knowledgeable Master of Maturation Kyle Lloyd led us through a vertical Rare Perfection tasting...14 Year to 15 to 9 to the new 10. All were delicious and all were unique. There are some special products coming out of Preservation Distillery! 🥃

Amazing evening in the Brindiamo Penthouse learning the history of Limestone Branch Distillery and tasting through some amazing Yellowstone bourbons and Minor Case Rye. We had dozens of BCG members in the house to learn about one of our two new partner distilleries, Limestone Branch. It's going to be a great year for the Bourbon Capital Guild! 🥃

The Bourbon Capital Guild hosted our annual BCG Holiday Bourbon Bash in the Brindiamo Penthouse on Friday, December 12. 40+ members brought a bottle to share with the group, dinner was catered in, and we drew 25 names from our annual member lottery submissions to add as new 2026 Single Barrel members.

The Bourbon Capital Guild had several hundred submissions for our annual lottery representing 21 states and Scotland! We look forward to welcoming these new members to the Bourbon Capital of the World for events, education on our partner distilleries, bottle shares, barrel picks and more in 2026. Cheers to all, happy holidays and Merry Christmas! 🥃🎄

One of our favorite things to do in the Bourbon Capital Guild is visit one of our nine amazing partner distilleries! 50+ BCG members enjoyed an incredible evening of delectable pours, food, and fun at beautiful Preservation Distillery. The awesome team there rolled out the red carpet for our group with a holiday event to remember.

The Bourbon Capital Guild was treated to a welcome cocktail upon arrival, then sat down to a delicious catered dinner. Passed around were neat pours of the BCG Single Barrel Select Old Man Winter pick, on sale that evening exclusively to our members. The Bourbon Capital Guild was the first group ever to pick an Old Man Winter barrel, a true honor!

Following dinner we enjoyed a full tasting of several Preservation Distillery pours, hosted by GM Kyle Lloyd. To say our members enjoyed this evening would be an understatement. Cheers! 🥃

The Bourbon Capital Guild had a TIME at the 2025 Kentucky Bourbon Festival! It was great to see so many members and to share pours with our nine partner distilleries and the other 50+ distilleries in attendance here at the world's premier bourbon festival in the Bourbon Capital of the World. We can't wait for next year's 35th Kentucky Bourbon Festival!

Cheers to all involved! The KBF leadership and board (many of whom are members of the BCG!) have turned this festival into an amazing three days. And the Visit Bardstown team did a fantastic job with the welcome and media tents. True team effort all around!

A team from the Bourbon Capital Guild was treated to an amazing Friday afternoon experience hosted by our partners at Old SteelHouse Distillery. We were invited to help dump and bottle our recent BCG Single Barrel Select pick! The BCG had never had that opportunity before. The entire process was so cool...pumping the barrel contents out into the trough, sending it over to the automated bottle filling machine, putting the front and back (and special BCG!) labels on, packing the bottles into boxes and getting them ready for sales to our members. This was a Friday afternoon we won't soon forget! 🥃

Amazing Friday morning with our partners at Preservation Distillery! The Bourbon Capital Guild was hosted by Shelby and Kyle. We were very lucky to do the first ever barrel pick of Old Man Winter, consisting of primarily Preservation Distillery's estate distilled bourbon mingled with some older stock. All three were absolutely fantastic but only #2 could survive! We'll do a special gold color wax on these bottles as gold is a primary color for the Bourbon Capital Guild. When this barrel is bottled, we'll take the entire BCG out for an exclusive experience at Preservation Distillery to buy bottles, enjoy pours, and more. So excited for these! 🥃

Oh, and we took the opportunity to officially induct a few of our recent Guild members, Shelby from Preservation Distillery and Jake and Scott from Bourbon Lens. They're great additions!
