Check out these 5th graders in ACTION over the past few weeks in STEAM!

From creativity to robotics where some students have moved on to the VEX robotic system. They have also been learning about DNA and how the bases connect to create the ladder in the double helix then they moved onto learning about protons, neutrons, and electrons and how they are placed within an atom by first creating Bohr models. Lastly, they have been working on perspective in art, and are currently creating a city scape from the perspective of looking up. Way to go TIGERS!

Last Friday these 6th graders did a great job in STEAM!

They started out by working a critical thinking math puzzle, and then moved on to buying and selling stock in the stock market game. Next, they continued working on their mechanical engineering project where they had to design and engineer, a working automaton, and lastly, a few teams were able to design their robots and successfully code their robot to autonomously parallel park. Way to go TIGERS!

Several weeks of these AWESOME 7th graders in ACTION!

From designing working models of the solar eclipse to working on our sustainable tiny homes for architecture. Students are also learning about biomedical engineering and designing a prosthetic leg, and also learning about marketing and designing a marketing tool for a new drink for Starbucks. Way to go TIGERS!

Here are this week’s 4th grade STEAM students in ACTION!
They started the day off planning and designing Lego mazes using scaling and measurement, then continued working on their transportation vehicles that must include two working simple machines, to working as Aerospace engineers designing a grappler and a moving robotic arm that can pick up various objects, and lastly, working on their Starry Night recreations where they are using watercolor and oil pastels to also study water, and oil react with each other. Way to go Tigers!

Check out these STEAM 5th graders in ACTION! Using PEMDAS in Equato puzzles, to Robotics, to buying and selling stock in the stock market game, to using their creativity to solve a problem and using phenotypes and genotypes in genetics, and lastly, starting their new one point perspective, city skyline art project to learn more about perspective and measurement. Check out these AWESOME 4th graders from today and last week! Practicing math skills with a Tarsia puzzle, building and coding robots, engineering transportation devices that must include wheel and axle and a lever, designing a “grapple” for NASA, learning how oil and water react through art, and coding to end the day.
